LocalAdLink
Technology
The LocalAdLink technology is what connects Internet surfers
to local businesses. LocalAdLink uses a computer's IP address
(assigned by the local Internet Service Provider) to determine
what zip code the IP address is in.
 |
This computer can be a desktop,
laptop, Blackberry, cell phone or other device that
connects to the Internet.
|
Depending upon the location of this device, LocalAdLink
will serve up advertisements for the zip code that this device
is in.
When advertisers sign up with LocalAdLink they can select
three different priced packages that will include 3, 10 or
50 zip codes respectively. Once the ad is live, it will be
shown to visitors to Google, Facebook, Myspace, Rollingstone.com,
BoomJ.com, WallStreetJournal.com and about 200 other high
traffic websites and search engines.
People who are on these high traffic websites and search
engines who are also in one of these zip code areas will see
the advertisements. LocalAdLink also drives customers to business
owners through the LocalAdLink.com website.
This website may already know the IP address and zip code
that you're dialing in from or it may ask for a city and state
that you wish to search. If you're planning a trip out of
town, the list of business and maps may be beneficial.
Geo-location and geo-targeting of advertisements is not a
new concept. But, LocalAdLink has taken this technology one-step
further to provide the most robust system in the market today.
